Description
The Rose window in Westminster Abbey's North Transept is a stunning stained glass artwork dating back to the 13th century. It is one of the abbey's largest and most impressive features, measuring about 10 meters in diameter, and is renowned for its intricate design and colours. The central panel portrays the Virgin Mary and Christ child, surrounded by saints and angels, while the four surrounding panels depict scenes from the lives of Old Testament figures. Although it has undergone restorations and repairs, it remains a magnificent and timeless work of art that captivates visitors.
