On the Southbank at sunset, the city came alive in shades of grey. People gathered on the steps, some chatting, others lost in the fading light. The Tower Bridge stood elegantly against the evening sky, while a gentle breeze off the Thames carried a sense of calm. It was a perfect end to a day in London.
